Family sessions are where my heart is. It felt great after a long and cold winter to get out and shoot a spring family session. The Hall family have been friends as Ariana is a fellow photographer as well.
Even though it is always pretty windy, I love this location for a few reasons. It has both mountain views and also flat plains that made it possible to get some gorgeous silhouettes (my absolute favorite). Silhouettes aren't always easy to do here in Colorado, so I'm happy to have found this place and I embrace the wind as it adds beautiful movement to the images anyway.
